Lanjigarh is a village situated to 64 km south-east of Bhawanipatna
, near the Kalahandi
border, in Orissa
. It was the erstwhile headquarters of Lanjigarh Zamindari under Kalahandi Ex-state. The village has some fortifications with a large moat around. It contains the temples of Gopinath and Goddess Dokari. Bansadhara
River originates from this hilly area.
Yatra or Jhamu Yatra, falls in the month of Chaitra (March - April), is a major draw attended by thousands of people from far and near.
