Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary




Kuldiha Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Baleswar District of Orissa and is around 35 km from Baleswar.

Spread over an area of 272 sq km, the sanctuary protects elephants, gaur, giant squirrel, sambar deer and leopard. Variety of birds such as hill myna, peacock and hornbills, and reptiles are also found.

The best season to visit is October to May.

The sanctuary is 14 km from Nilgiri and 30 km from Udala. The sanctuary is linked with Simlipal National Park through Sukhupada and Nato hill ranges.
