Kisan, also known Nagasia, is a scheduled tribe living in the states of
Bihar and
Orissa. A majority of this tribe have settled in the hilly and forest areas of
Palamu District,
Jharkhand.
The tribe speaks 'Sadani', but Mundari is their native language. Areas of activity include cultivation and collection of forest products.
