Gania




Located on the Daspalla-Hindola road, Gania is a small town in the upper part of Nayagarh District. It is on the banks of the Mahanadi River and is nearly 12 km from Madhyakhanda and 5 km from Sidhamala. Nayagarh, the district headquarters, is around 60 km south.

Sri Sri Raghunath Jaw Mahavidyalaya is a premier educational institution in this area. The nearest tourist destinations are Kuanria Deer Park, Baisipalli Wildlife Sanctuary and Kuanria Dam. Khandapara and Kantilo are the nearby pilgrim centers.

Khurda Road Junction Railway Station and Biju Patnaik Airport serve the area. Gania can be approached from Khorda and Nayagarh.
