Deogaon is located in
Keonjhar District of
Orissa. It lies on the banks of river Kusai and is 8 km from Anandapur.
It is a major pilgrim center and the main attraction is Kushaleswar Temple. Earlier, this area was a thriving seat of Buddhism. A 5 ft high image of Abalokiteswar can be found here. Another notable monument is a stone embankment on the river, which is the second of its kind in the state.
