Chhimtuipui District



Chhimtuipui District has an area of 1,400 sq km and population of around 60,000. The town of Saiha, 378 km away from the state capital, Aizawl, is the headquarters of Chhimtuipui District. 45 kms from Saiha, is Lake Palak which is believed to be the home of the mythical serpent wearing a ruby crown. The lake is ideal for angling.
