Bara Bazar

Bara Bazar is the prominent shopping center in Aizawl. The bazar, with a number of stalls, is an ideal location for handicrafts, traditional products, furnishing materials and products from farms and homesteads. There are separate outlets for imported garments, cosmetics and shoes.

Taxis and buses are the main mode of transportation in Aizawl. The nearest railway station and airport are at Silchar, 180 km away in Assam.
