Darugiri




Darugiri is a small village in East Garo Hills District of Meghalaya. It is situated at an altitude of 1227 ft above sea level. The village is famous for the Darugiri Reserve Forest, located alongside the Dudhnoi - Damra - Darugiri - Baghmara road. This forest covers an area of about 10 sq km.

The century old Darugiri forest rest house on the border of the reserve forest is another attraction. Williamnagar is around 51 km from Darugiri.
