Nongalbibra




Situated near the confluence of the Nongal and Simsang rivers, Nongalbibra is one of the important places in East Garo Hills District of Meghalaya. It is about 350 km from Shillong - the state capital.

Nongalbibra is noted for its coal fields and both mining and electrical processes are undertaken here. Lithomargic clay and dry hydrated limestone are also available here in abundance.
