Elephant Falls is a charming spot, located near
Shillong Peak, on the outskirts of the city, about 12 km away, in
Meghalaya. A unique sight is that here a mountain stream bifurcates to form two high waterfalls. Elephant Falls is surrounded by fern-covered rocks and is blessed with scenic vistas all around, making it an ideal spot for holidaymakers and nature lovers. It is easily accessible by a wooden bridge and a well paved footpath.
