Savangi




Savangi is a small town by the banks of the Aran River, right on Yavatmal District’s western border with Washim District, in Maharashtra. It lies midway between Darwha and Karanja and is around 30 km north-west of Tivari.

Painganga Wildlife Sanctuary and Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary cater to wildlife enthusiasts in the district. Chintamani of Kalamb, Shri Ranganath Swami Temple at Wani and Sahastrakund Waterfalls are other tourist options for visitors to this place. The Jain pilgrim site of Karanja and Shreekshetra Pohradevi are within easy access from Savangi.
