Venna Lake

Venna is an artificial lake built on the north-east of the Mahabaleshwar town in Satara District by Raja Pratap Singh of Satara in 1842. The lake supplies water to Mahabaleshwar. Boating facility is available on hourly basis. The overflow of the lake water forms the Venna river. It merges with the Koyna at Maholi near Satara.
