Located near
Vasai, an hour's drive from
Mumbai, Tungareshwar temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva. There are a few waterfalls behind the temple. The hill- station
Tungareshwar derives its name from the Tungareshwar Temple. The area is sylvan, with dense forests.
To arrive at this place, one can travel by rail to Vasai and then take a rickshaw to Tungareshwar.
