Thanegaon

Thanegaon is a small town situated 10 km east of Karanja, in Wardha District. It lies on the National Highway 6 and is quite near the district’s border with Nagpur District. Thanegaon is 13 km west of Kondhali and about 26 km south-west of Katol.

Bor Wildlife Sanctuary and Pench National Park cater to wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Gandhiji's Ashram at Sevagram, Vinoba Bhave's Ashram at Paunar and Mahakali Dam are other options for tourists.

Sonegaon Airport and Katol Railway Station serve Thanegaon.
