Khadakwasla Dam

Khadakwasla Dam, a picturesque spot near the village of Khadakwasla, lies downstream of the confluence of the Ambi and Mutha rivers, about 17 km west of Pune city. It is built across the Mutha River and its front part is constructed with large rocks. There is a large bridge that runs parallel to part of the dam connecting the National Defence Academy and the Sinhagad road. This dam is mainly used for irrigation and municipal and industrial water supply.
