Saras Baug

Saras Baug is a beautiful garden located at Pune, in Maharashtra. It was built by Nanasaheb Peshwa, surrounding the picturesque Parvati Hill. With its pleasant lawns along with its glittering fountains, it is an ideal place to rest and relax.

There is a famous Ganesh Temple built by Madhav Rao Peshwa in 1774. The Ganesh Murti Museum, located here, features a large number of Ganesh statues.

Saras Baug has become a jogging and walking track and is a popular place for evening walkers and hangouts for the adults and the young alike.

A small narrow road adjoining the Saras Baugh leads one to the Peshwe Park.
