Ganesh Peth




One of the important places during the Peshwa's era, Ganesh Peth is located in Pune, Maharashtra. Sardar Jivajipant Khazgiwale, the chief Sardar of Srimant Madhavrao Peshwa, had inhabited Budhwar Peth in the year 1660.

Major points of attraction here are Dulya Maruti Temple, Dagdinagoba Temple and Gurusingh Sabha (the first gurdwara in the city). Mehta Book Sales and a big milk market are famous in this area.

Ganesh Peth is easily accessible from Pune Junction Railway Station.
