Penganga River




Penganga River originates from the Ajantha range, southwest of Buldhana town. It is a deep river with a meandering flow. The Pus, Arha, Aran, Waghavi and Kunj are the tributaries of the Penganga River within the Yavatmal District of Maharashtra. Penganga is an important tributary of the Wardha River and Godavari River. It also passes through the Adilabad District of Andhra Pradesh which is an important water source for the district.
