Nilanga Temple




Nilanga Temple is situated at Nilanga, situated about 50 km south-east of Latur, in Maharashtra. This 12th - 13th century temple, built in Hemadpanthi Style, enshrines a magnificent Shivling.

Nilanga Temple is built in a star shaped architecture with a multitude of projecting corners all around. It is being designed upon the usual device of a series of overlapping squares of equal size with a common centre. The door of the main shrine is exquisitely garnished with human figures and geometrical design.
