Vidya Vihar




Vidya Vihar is a bustling area located between Kurla and Ghatkopar in eastern Mumbai. It is located about 7 km north-east of Bandra.

K J Somaiya educational campus is the major landmark of Vidya Vihar. ‘Vidya Vihar’, which means 'garden of education' in Hindi, seems to have derived its name after this coveted institution. IIT Mumbai, Powai and Vihar Lakes and the commercial center of Kurla are quite nearby.

Vidya Vihar Railway Station is situated on the Kurla - Vikhroli suburban rail route.

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is around 6 km to the west. Nearest major railhead is Dadar Central Railway Station, which is around 10 km south. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station is around 20 km south.
