Kanjurmarg




Kanjurmarg is a fast growing settlement situated on the shores of the Thane creek, in the eastern suburbs of Mumbai, in Maharashtra. It is located about 12 km north-east of Kurla.

Shree Ayyappa Temple, the first Ayyappa Temple outside Kerala, is a famous pilgrim spot in Kanjurmarg.

Kanjurmarg Railway Station is situated on the Mumbai suburban railway line of Central Railways. It is the major access point for IIT Mumbai.

Mulund is around 8 km north. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is around 18 km to the south-west of Kanjurmarg. Nearest major railhead is Thane Railway Station.
