Bhandup is situated on the north-eastern suburb of
Mumbai and is around 25 km from downtown Mumbai. It is 10 km south of
Thane.
It is broadly divided into Bhandup east and west. It holds a number of industries including one of the manufacturing units of Asian Paints. Most of the industries in Bhandup can be located in the industrial estate situated here.
The nearest airport is Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. Nearest major railhead is
Thane Railway Station.
Bhandup Railway Station is situated at Bhandup (East). Bhandup is around 15 km north-east of Andheri and around 5 km south of Mulund.
