Bor Wildlife Sanctuary




Bor Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Wardha District of Maharashtra.

The vegetation is of southern mixed dry deciduous forest type. Wild animals found here are tiger, panther, bison, blue bull, chital, sambar, peacock, barking deer, chinkara, monkey, wild boar, bear and wild dog.

Best time to visit is April to May.

Sonegaon Airport is the nearest airport and Wardha Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.

The sanctuary is few kilometers south of National Highway 6 and is north of Wardha.
