Malad




Malad is a fast developing residential area in the northern suburbs of Mumbai. It is located 2 km south of Kandivli and around 3 km north of Goregaon.

Geographically Malad has been divided into Malad (East) and Malad (West).

Aksa Beach at Malad (W) and Marve Beach are worth a visit. Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Kanheri Caves, Tulsi and Vihar lakes, Film City and Essel World and Water Kingdom, Asia’s largest water park at Gorai Creek, are some other tourist spots in the vicinity.

The Resort and The Retreat are two top end hotels in Malad.

Malad is 30 km north of Churchgate. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is about 13 km south. Malad Railway Station is on the AndheriDahisar suburban rail line of Western Railways. Nearest major railhead is Dadar Central Railway Station, which is around 20 km south.
