Deccan Express runs between Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) Railway Station and Pune Junction Railway Station. Both stations are located in Maharashtra. The train is named after the Deccan Plateau. The train passes through the famous hill stations of Khandala and Lonavala. Thane City and Khadki Point are on the way. The train operates daily and covers a distance of 192 km. A/C chair car and second seating facilities are available.

Train number 1007: Mumbai to Pune, leaves Mumbai at 07:15 hrs.
Train number 1008: Pune to Mumbai, leaves Pune at 15:30 hrs.
