Kaas Lake




Kaas Lake is located at an altitude of 3,500 ft from sea level, at a distance of 26 km west of Satara on the Satara-Yavateshwar road. It is a calm lake surrounded by dense forests. To the left of the lake lies Sajjangad fort and Kanher Dam is to the right. A range of flat topped mountains, similar to that of Panchagani's tabletop are visible by the side of the lake. Kasaidevi temple is nearby.

Ideal time to visit is from September to March.
