Chichondi is accessible on the State Highway 142, about 11 km south-east of Karanji, in Ahmednagar District. It is right on the district’s eastern border with Aurangabad District and is 22 km from the district headquarters - Ahmednagar. Loni is the nearest settlement on the other side of the border, in Beed District. Pune is 127 km towards the south-west.
