Mudkhed

Mudkhed is situated 18 km south-west of Bhokar, in Nanded District. It lies 20 km east of Nanded - the district headquarters - and is about 10 km south-east of Barad. Umri is around 30 km south-east.

Unkeshwar Village, the Nanded Fort and the historic gurdwaras at Nanded are some places of tourist interest. Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary, Sivaram Wildlife Sanctuary and Pranahita Wildlife Sanctuary are popular wildlife haunts in the neighboring Adilabad District, within easy access from Mudkhed.

Hyderabad Airport serves Mudkhed. Mudkhed Railway Station is on the Nanded – Bhokar rail line of the South Central Railways.
