Lake Arthur Hill

Arthur Lake



Lake Arthur Hill (Bhandardara Lake) lies on a part of the Deccan plateau at a height of 750 m. It was created when Wilson Dam was constructed across Pravara River, which waters Arthur Lake. Agastya Rishi Ashram on the banks of the Pravara River and Randha Falls are among the nearby attractions.

The nearest international airport is at Mumbai (185 km) and railhead is Igatpuri (45 km).
