Tala is a tiny settlement situated on the Umaria-Rewa state highway, in Umaria District, Madhya Pradesh. Surrounded by dense forests, the place is noted for its calm and serene atmosphere. Bandhavgarh National Park and Bhaghela Museum are the major tourist spots in the surroundings. The nearest airport is at Jabalpur. Umaria Railway Station serves Tala.
