Sola Khambi Temple




Sola Khambi Temple is an ancient shrine, located on the north side of a local lake in Badoh, Madhya Pradesh. Badoh is about 84 km from Vidisha.

Stood on two meter high molded plinth, this beautiful temple is about 8 sq km in area. Its architecture resembles that of the Gupta period. The temple is a flat roofed, open and sixteen pillared structure.

Dashavatara Temples and Sat-Madhi Temple located close to this temple are tourist attractions.

Badoh is about 19 km east of Kulhar Railway Station.
