Shri Banedia Teerth




Located at Banedia in Indore District, Shri Banedia Teerth is managed by a trust called Shri Digamabar Jain Atishay Kshetra Committee. It enshrines the idol of Bhagvan Ajitnath in the padmasana posture. The main idol was installed in 1548 Vikram Samvat by Shah Jeevraj papdiwala. The teerth has 43 other idols, including the idols of Bhagvan Adinath, Ajitnath and Chandraprabhu. There are 4 vedis (Vedic altars) in this temple. The main vedi is dedicated to Bhagvan Ajitnath. Dharamshala facility is also available.

Banedia is around 45 km from Indore. Indore Junction BG Railway Station is the nearest railway station.
