Seoni




Seoni is the seat of administration of Seoni District, in Madhya Pradesh. It is situated about 254 km south-east of Bhopal.

Places of tourist interest include the Pench National Park and Sanjay Sarowar Lake. The Asia's largest mud dam across river Wainganga, Nagpur, Kanha and Bandhavgarh National Parks in Jabalpur constitute the nearby attractions.

Nearest airport is at Nagpur. Seoni Railway Station is on the Chhindwara-Jabalpur line. All south bound trains stop at the Nagpur Junction Railway Station, located 120 km to the south of the town. Seoni is situated on National Highway 27 and has regular buses to Jabalpur, Varanasi, Nagpur, Balaghat and Mandla.
