Sarangpur




Situated near Lothal in Ahmedabad District, Sarangpur village is a place famous for four minaret temples. These temples belong to the Swaminarayan religious movement. Bibi-ki-Masjid is a mosque situated in the east of village. This mosque was built in A.D 1454 by Makhduma-I-Jahan, mother of Sultan Ahmed Shah II. It houses a royal gallery enclosed by a carved dome with a luxuriant spiral pendentive.
