Neemuch District




Neemuch (sometimes spelt Nimach) is located at the north-west border of Madhya Pradesh. It spreads over an area of 4,260 sq km with a total population of 750,000. Sukhanand Mahadev, Octorloni Building, Neel Khant Mahadev, Antri matha Temple, and Bhadwa Matha Temple are the main tourist spots.

Similar to Mandsaur District, Neemuch is also famous for its opium production. Important crops are wheat, maize, groundnut, gram, garlic, soyabean and mustard.
