Mortakka




Mortakka is a village situated in Khandwa District, about 10 km away from Omkareshwar, on Indore-Khandwa highway. It is a picturesque area with a calm and pleasant atmosphere, which attracts visitors and pilgrims largely from distant places. The holy river Narmada flows through this place. Mandhata Hill, Omkareshwar Temple and Amareshwar Temple are situated nearby.

There is a narrow gauge rail line which connects Ratlam, Indore and Khandwa. The nearest major railway station is Khandwa Junction Railway Station and the nearest airport is at Indore.
