Malvi is a language prevalent in the north-western states of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Originally from the Indo-Aryan language family, it is a Rajasthani dialect having relations with Marwari and Jaipuri (Dhundhari). The Malwada, Mallow, Ujjaini, Malwi and Malavi are the different names of this language.
