Patalkot




Patalkot is a lovely landscape situated in Tamia, Chhindwara District. With a depth of 1200-1500 ft, it is around 62 km from Chhindwara and 23 km from Tamia. The word 'Patalkot' means 'very deep'. If you look down the place from the top of the valley, it looks like horseshoe in shape. 'Doodh' river flows through this picturesque valley. Mostly tribal people settled in this valley. 'Patalkot' attracts many tourists because of its geographical location, scenic beauty and immense and rare herbal wealth.
