Panna, the only ‘Diamond City’ of India, is the administrative headquarters of
Panna District in
Madhya Pradesh. The place is famous for its diamond mining industries, which is spread as a belt of 80 km across the district. Panna is 312 km north-east of
Bhopal.
Panna, the erstwhile capital of the Bundela kingdom, is dotted with numerous religious monuments, which strikes a blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. Excursions to the Ajaygarh Fort (36 km),
