Chhanera

Chhanera is a township located on the Khandwa - Harda road, about 35 km from Khandwa, in Khandwa District of Madhya Pradesh.

It is a proposed site for the reconstruction of Harsud town, which was submerged by the waters of the Indira Sagar Dam.

Mandhata Hill, Omkareshwar, Punasa Dam, Narmada Nagar and Panghat are the tourist destinations nearby.

Devi Ahilya Bai Holeker Airport and Khandwa Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station respectively.
