Ashoknagar

Ashoknagar is situated in North 24 Parganas District of West Bengal. Amdanga lies to its south-west and is around 50 km from Kolkata.

In addition to one WBSIDC (West Bengal Small Industries Development Corporation) Industrial estate there are about eight numbers of Private Industrial Estate at Ashoknagar.

From here, short excursions to places such as Halisahar, famous for its temples, Bhatpara and Barasat can be arranged.

The town is served by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Naihati Junction Railway Station.
