Puthiyakavu




Puthiyakavu is a small village near Tripunithura in Ernakulam District of Kerala. It is around 11 km from Ernakulam town.

The place is famous for a Bhagavathi temple. A seven-day festival held at the temple is a major draw. During the third and fourth days of this festival, unmarried women from far-off places gather here to offer thalams.

Other places of worship near Puthiyakavu village are Vicar St Mary's Forane Church and Shri Poornathrayeesa Temple.

Puthiyakavu is well connected by regular bus services from Tripunithura and Ernakulam. Tripunithura Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
