Chamravattom Shasta Temple




Chamravattom Shasta Temple is situated at Chamravattom village, about 12 km south of Tirur in Malappuram District. A highly revered shrine of Lord Ayyappa, the temple stands on the banks of Bharathapuzha with a beautiful backdrop.

Beyond being a pilgrim center, the temple is a place of scenic beauty for travelers. Devotees consider the famous Thamaramkulangara Sree Dharmasastha Temple (at Tripunithura) is an extension of this temple.

Chamravattom Shasta Temple can easily be accessed from Tirur Railway Station. People from Ponnani village can use Chamravattom jetty to reach this temple.
