Thrikariyoor Mahadev Temple is an ancient temple situated at Thrikariyoor about 3 km from
Kothamangalam of
Ernakulam District. The temple is dedicated to Lord
Shiva, one of the gods in the Hindu trinity. The temple celebrates a ten-day annual festival which attracts a lot of devotees from far and near. On the last three days of the festival, elephants escort the image of Lord Shiva on a procession around the temple.
