Kattakada

Kattakada is a town in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala. It lies on the Thiruvananthapuram-Neyyar Dam route, around 20 km north-east of Thiruvananthapuram.

The place has many ancient churches and temples. Christian College is a famous educational institution in the town. Neyyar Dam and Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram are neighboring places of tourist interest.

Kattakada Bus Station, the local bus station, helps in the accessibility. Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station and Trivandrum International Airport serve the town.
