Chenthitta Devi Temple




Chenthitta Devi Temple is a beautiful shrine situated at Chenthitta, behind the Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station, in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It is between Thampanoor and Killipalam on the National Highway 47. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali.

The temple has separate shrines dedicated to Lord Ganesh and Lord Shiva, Lord Muruga, Lord Ayyappa and Lord Krishna.

Navratri festival celebrated here is a major draw attended by thousands of devotees from far and near. During the festival one of the Navratri deities, Goddess Munootinanka from Suchindram is brought to the Chenthitta Devi Temple in a grand procession.

Trivandrum International Airport is the nearest airport. Thiruvananthapuram Central Bus Station is the nearest major bus station.
