Tiruvanmundur is a small village that borders the districts of Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta. The place is in Alappuzha District, about 6 km north-west of Chengannur. Thiruvalla lies 10 km north-east.

Parumala Church and Aranmula Parthasarathy Temple at Aranmula are two neighboring pilgrim sites.
