Tapioca




Tapioca belongs to the family Euphorbiaceae and is grows well in warm humid tropical conditions where rainfall is abundant.

Fresh tubers are commercially used in Sago industries, while the boiled tubers are considered as a staple food. The dried leaves have protein, serving as an excellent cattle feed. Tapioca is mostly grown in South Indian states.
