State Highway 28 is a 103 km-long road that connects
Kozhikode on
National Highway 17 with Karikod, near the
Kerala-
Tamil Nadu border. State Highway 28 starts at Kozhikode and overlaps NH 17 and turns south-east to reach Velluvambram. It then touches
Manjeri junction, turns north-east and runs through
Edavanna,
Nilambur, Chungathara,
Edakkara and Vazhikadavu, before ending at the state border past Karikod.
State Highway 34 meets State Highway 28 at Edavanna.
