Saraswati Vilasom Palace



Saraswati Vilasom Palace is a two-storied colonial building in Sankhuchakra Nagar opposite Mithranandapuram tank in Thiruvananthapuram. The 150-year-old Saraswati Vilasom palace is also known as Sankhuchakrathu kottaram. The place, once the residence of Kerala Varma Valiya Koyi Thampuran, has 10 large rooms, decorated with floral designs and semicircular windows and doors fitted with Belgium glass in shades of violet, green, red and orange. This heritage monument is maintained by the Kerala Hindi Prachar Sabha.
